Rust-Oleum Transparent Fix Primer 5L is a water-based, colourless fixing agent based on synthetic resin. For substrates with a powdery, porous or highly absorbent surface. Deep penetrative capacity and improvements to the adhesion to the substrate. Suitable as primer for emulsion finish and solvent-free, low-odour and quick drying (1 hour). For interior and exterior use.

This Rust-Oleum Transparent Fix Primer inhibits long-term rust from developing under the primer film when dry therefore making it ideal for priming interior and exterior woodwork. Rust-Oleum Transparent Fix Primer works brilliantly in high-humidity areas like bathrooms and laundry rooms.
Formulated with high performance proprietary resins, it is the go to primer for binding chalky surfaces like previously painted siding or possibly high pH surfaces (up to 12.5). With superior sealing qualities and great hold out therefore Rust-Oleum Transparent Fix Primer is an outstanding base coat for any decorative painting and faux finish. It has a 1 hour dry time and only a 3 hour recoat time.
