What are Hard Hat?
Rustoleum Hard Hat Aerosol Topcoats are a fast-drying tough flexible paint that resists chipping, cracking and peeling.
Based on short oil soya alkyd they are free of lead and cromate pigments.
Rustoleum Hard Hat Aerosol Topcoats spray paint can be used for small maintenance or touch up jobs. More paint in the can, resulting in a higher coverage each aerosol covers 2.5m2 which equals up to twice standard aerosols.
A higher film build without drips or runs, in one go. Twice the opacity of cheaper paint sprays (saving a cross layer). Normal coverage in one pass. Higher quality pigments for a longer gloss and colour retention.
Why Hard Hat?
The theoretical coverage from a can of Hard Hat is 2.5m squared. Double that of which you should expect from a regular can bought straight off of a high street store’s shelf.
Though marketed toward the building industry, Hard Hat paint can be used and applied just like any ordinary spray paint. Whether you’re spraying a vehicle, furniture, models, or anything else DIY. The industrial background and development brings heavy advantages too. Such as –
- Heat resistant up to 100 degrees – Very handy if you would like some heat resistance without having to buy a heat resistant specific paint.
- Touch dry in just 15 minutes. You can then handle your sprayed object just 15 minutes after that. Handle dry time is just 30 minutes after you have finished spraying.
- Due to a more potent paint recipe, you can save on the amount of cross layers necessary (where you keep re-applying paint to an area).
Leaves a fantastic finish on most surfaces.
