Overview
Zinsser AllCoat Exterior Satin (Solvent Based) is an ultimate performance all surface paint. Designed for the long-term decoration (up to 15 years) of timber, metal, masonry, plastic, concrete, cladding and more. It forms a low maintenance water-shedding coating, re-coatable in 3 hours. Zinsser AllCoat Exterior Satin (Solvent Based) contains a biocide to protect the dried coating against fungal degradation. Available in 4,100+ RAL, NCS and BS colours.
Designed for all paintable exterior surfaces, it is ideal for low temperature applications where water based may not be suitable on new or previously painted wood, uPVC, galvanising, steel, aluminium, cladding, stucco, brick, stone, cured concrete, Plastisol and more. Zinsser AllCoat Exterior Satin (Solvent Based) answers the question “can you paint upvc windows and doors?”
This product is not suitable for application on floors.

- ALLCOAT® Exterior Satin is available in a full range of BS4800, RAL and NCS colours. Multiple containers of tinted paint should be intermixed (boxed) to ensure colour uniformity.

Up to 10m2 per litre.
Normal application is 2 coats, however an additional coat should be applied to areas of high exposure such as sills and fascia boards.

Surfaces must be clean, sound and free of dirt, dust, grease, wax, loose paint or other surface contamination. Remove all existing mould and mildew before painting.
To effectively remove mould and mildew, use Zinsser Mould Killer & Remover. Timber at risk from decay or insect attack should be treated with Blackfriar Exterior Wood Preservative Gold Star Clear.
Very hard or glossy previously painted surfaces should be abraded and degreased. Before painting, fill all nail holes and gouges. Where necessary, spot prime knots and sap streaks with Zinsser B-I-N Primer-Sealer.
Abrade & degrease unweathered plastisol & powder coatings.
Allow new plaster/cement & stucco to cure 60-90 days before coating.
Thoroughly degrease new galvanised steel.
WARNING! If you scrape, sand, or remove old paint, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE.
Stir well before using.
Apply when air and surface temperatures are between 5℃ and 32℃ and humidity is less than 80%.
For airless spray use tip 0.13 – 0.017 at pressure 1800 – 2400 psi.

- Clean application tools, spatters and spills immediately with warm water and liquid detergent; rinse with water.
- Dried paint on brushes can be removed with Zinsser BIN Brush Cleaner 1L, also available in 500ml. Follow equipment manufacturer’s directions to clean spray equipment.
- Remove dried product with a household cleaner; such as Zinsser Universal Cleaner & Degreaser, rinse with water.
