Owatrol Net-Trol, Wood Cleaner, Neutraliser And Colour Restorer

Product Description

NET-TROL® is a powerful cleaner and brightener which restores grey, weather-beaten exterior wood that is unfinished to its natural colour. Unlike bleach or chlorine based cleaners it will not damage the wood fibres. NET-TROL® removes surface and ground in dirt while restoring a bright, vibrant look to the exterior surface.

Properties

• Lightens and restores colour to all greyed weathered wood without bleaching.
• Fast acting, restores greyed weathered wood to its natural colour within 20 minutes.
• Use on all wood species: Softwood (inc. Pressure Treated Wood) – Larch, Pine, Cedar…; Ultra Heat Treated Wood; Hardwoods – Teak, Iroko, Ipe, Bangkirai (Balau), Oak, Chestnut…
• Cleans and neutralises staining caused by tannins.
• Excellent degreaser for tropical hardwoods prior to applying the chosen finish.
• Removes all traces of weathering attributed to mould, mildew, pollution…
• Restores lustre to plastics dulled by weathering and UV rays.
• Removes rust stains.
• Cleans discoloured stone and stained cement.
• Neutralises surfaces stripped with AQUANETT®*, PREPDECK®* or DILUNETT®*.
• Safe to use – harmless to plants and shrubs.
• Biodegradable – Does not contain solvents or bleach.

Application

• Shake or stir container well before use.
• Use neat or diluted. See “Dilutions” below.
• Work large areas in zones.
• Always work in the direction of the grain. Do Not use a wire brush.

Wood, Stone, Concrete

• Wet surface with fresh, clean water.
• Apply NET-TROL®.
• Scrub surface to agitate the NET-TROL®.
• Leave to stand for approx. 10-20 minutes. If surface starts to dry, dampen with a mist application of water.
• Scrub surface while flushing with water or use a pressure washer (max. 60 bar/870 psi).
• Rinse thoroughly with fresh clean water.
• If required repeat procedure.
• Wood – Allow to dry 2-3 days or until it meets the moisture content required by the chosen finish.
• Stone & Concrete – Allow to dry until it meets the moisture content required by the chosen finish.

Nail Stains

• Clean surface. After cleaning wet surface with fresh clean water.
• Apply NET-TROL® to the entire surface over and around the nail stain.
• Rinse with fresh clean water but not until the stain has disappeared.

Plastic or GRP

• Wet surface with fresh clean water.
• Apply NET-TROL®.
• Leave to work for 10 minutes.
• Scrub surface with a soft or medium scrubbing brush.
• Rinse with large amounts of fresh clean water.

Rust Stains

• Wet surface with fresh clean water.
• Apply NET-TROL® with a stiff scrubbing brush working in to rust stain.
• Leave to work for 10 minutes.
• Re-scrub surface with a stiff scrubbing brush.
• Rinse with large amounts of fresh clean water.

Neutralising

• Apply NET-TROL® to the wet surface.
• Wood – Allow to work until wood has brightened but for at least 15 minutes.
• Other Porous Surfaces (Stone, Concrete….) – Allow to work for at least 15 minutes.
• Thoroughly rinse off with fresh clean water.
