Rust-Oleum Solvent-Based Black Satin Enamel is a well covering and decorative paint used for a durable protection on multiple surfaces…. such as; wood, hard plastics and even metal.

Rust-Oleum Solvent-Based Black Satin Enamel is great for protecting many different surfaces. Unlike other enamels, this paint leaves a fantastic decorative finish along with great durablity. Rust-Oleum Solvent-Based Black Satin Enamel inhibits long-term rust from developing when dry, as a result making it ideal for priming interior and exterior woodwork. This Rust-Oleum Solvent-Based Black Satin Enamel also works brilliantly in high-humidity areas like bathrooms and laundry rooms.

Formulated with high performance alkyd resins meaning it is the go to enamel for binding chalky surfaces like previously painted siding or possibly high pH surfaces (up to 12.5). With superior sealing qualities and great hold out, Rust-Oleum Solvent-Based Black Satin Enamel is an extremely easy paint to sand down and this is recommended between coats and has a coverage average of 15m2 per Litre.

A Few Quick Paint Tips
You will get the best performance from your paint if it’s stored at room temperature prior to use.

Shake your spray cans thoroughly. Hold the can horizontally, not vertically(!), while shaking is the manufacturer’s advice.

Mixing the ingredients in your aerosol is paramount to stop splatter and the clogging of nozzles.

When it comes to brush paints, stirring rather than shaking provides the best ingredient combining technique.
