Product Description
MARINE POLYTROL® is a penetrating oil, which does not contain any waxes or silicones. Quick and simple to use, it is the easy way to restore colour in just a few minutes to any surface dulled and faded by the weather e.g. gelcoat, plastic, paint, varnish. MARINE POLYTROL® penetrates the surface, re-wetting the pigments so restoring look of the finish to its original colour and lustre. Restoring the shine to dull and oxidised metals without the need for polishing, MARINE POLYTROL® provides a tough, long lasting, waterproof, flexible finish and corrosion protection on metals. Resin rich MARINE POLYTROL® eliminates the need for waxes and polishes that are complicated and tedious to apply.

Surface Preparation
General directions
- Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dirt, grease, grime and mildew.
- All waxes, polishes, silicone etc. should be completely and thoroughly removed.
- Treat mildew with a 50/50 bleach/water solution. Scrub solution on to surface and allow to stand 10-15 minutes, rinse thoroughly.
Plastic and Gelcoat
- Clean surface with DECK CLEANER*.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry a minimum of 12 hours.
Metal
- Clean surface with OWACLEAN*.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry a minimum of 12 hours.
Application
Plastic and Gelcoat
- Apply a liberal even application of MARINE POLYTROL® to saturation using a brush.
- Allow to work 10-20 min.
- Wipe off excess MARINE POLYTROL® with a clean lint free cloth before it becomes tacky.
- Gently polish with a soft lint free cloth to a new sheen.
- If required repeat above process, ensuring that MARINE POLYTROL® does not create a film on the surface.
Metal
- Soak abrasive pad or wire wool in MARINE POLYTROL® and apply to surface with a rubbing action.
- Allow to work 10-20 minutes.
- Wipe surface with a cloth to remove all residue.
- Buff surface with a soft lint free cloth.
Note: MARINE POLYTROL® is not a surface coating, its place is in the surface not on the surface. Excess MARINE POLYTROL® that dries on the surface may be removed with MARINE STRIP*.
