Product Description
LIANFLOOR® is a highly flexible acrylic filler for joints, cracks, holes and other flooring defects. Mixed with sawdust from the final sanding, it maintains the woods natural colour, allowing a superior finish to be achieved while at the same time preventing the finish from bonding across joints. Easy to use, it is quick drying, odourless, non-yellowing and easy to sand. LIANFLOOR® can be used on all soft and hardwood flooring and may be stained and used with other varnishes that are compatible with acrylic fillers.

Surface Preparation
General directions
- Surfaces must be dry, clean, free of dirt, grease and other surface contamination including previous coatings.
- LIANFLOOR® can only be applied to bare wood surfaces. ALL other finishes MUST be completely and thoroughly removed.
- Always clean meticulously with a vacuum cleaner after each sanding, including any dust traps (skirting, radiators, pipes, window sills, etc).
- Sand wooden floor using appropriate system and abrasive grades up to grit No 80 or 100 depending on condition of surface and wood species. Use an edge sander for edges, a mechanical hand sander, chisel or scraper for corners.
- Apply LIANFLOOR® as per “Mixing and Application” instructions below.
- Finish with finishing grade up to grit No. 120 or 150 depending on the wood species and thickness of wear layer.
- If required treat new or old bare wood with TMU 84* to protect against fungal attack and blue stain prior to applying LIANFLOOR®.

New wood surfaces
- Degrease surface with denatured alcohol, acetone or similar solvent based product.
- Prepare and sand surface as instructed in “General Directions” above.
Previously treated surfaces (oiled or polished)
- Previously oiled or polished surfaces should be dry stripped with CDKP® 90*.
- After stripping degrease surface with with denatured alcohol, acetone, white (mineral) spirit or similar solvent based product.
- Prepare and sand surface as instructed in “General Directions” above.
Previously coated surfaces (varnish, paint, stain)
- Remove existing finish by sanding or stripping with CDKP® 90*.
- After stripping degrease surface with with denatured alcohol, acetone, white (mineral) spirit or similar solvent based product.
- Prepare and sand surface as instructed in “General Directions” above.
Mixing
- Use LIANFLOOR® as is. Do not dilute with other products, including water.
- Shake LIANFLOOR® well.
- Mix LIANFLOOR® and sawdust in a stainless steel bucket or directly on the floor as detailed below.
- Mix 15-20% sawdust from sanding grits No 80 or 100 with LIANFLOOR® to make a smooth paste.
- If after mixing the sawdust and LIANFLOOR® the mixture seems too thick, add more LIANFLOOR® to thin the mix to a smooth workable paste.
Application
- Apply mixture with spatula or filling knife working well in to joints, cracks etc.
- Allow to dry.
- If filler has shrunk or sunk (concave) repeat the process to build up the filler to the level of the floor. Do not sand between applications.
- When dry continue sanding process from the last grit used (No 80 or 100).
- Meticulously vacuum all surfaces after each sanding.
- Apply desired Owatrol floor finish.

- VOC: EU limit value for this product (cat. A/g): 30 g/l (2010). This product contains max 26 g/l VOC.
Restrictions
Solvent based wood stains may not be used to colour the floor after using LIANFLOOR®.
